ITM Power achieves first sale in Russia

SHEFFIELD-based ITM Power today revealed that it had achieved its first sale in Russia.

ITM Power, which is an energy storage and clean fuel company, has sold the first reference plant based on the HPac platform to a Russian company, which wishes to remain anonymous.

In a statement, the company added: “ITM Power looks forward to marketing its products more actively in Russia into that country’s rapidly growing energy sector.”

Dr Graham Cooley, ITM Power’s chief executive, said, “Russia is a fast growing energy market that is beginning to look more seriously at the renewable space. We are pleased that companies in Russia are looking at the renewable energy sector in general and our products in particular.”

ITM Power was admitted to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in 2004.
