JCT's great row for charity

Staff and bosses from JCT600 dealerships across Yorkshire have helped to raise more than £10,000 in a series of rowing challenges, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The events were inspired by the firm's support for two Yorkshiremen in their quest to row the Atlantic in the bi-annual Woodvale Rowing Race. The two transatlantic rowers, Alex Macdonald and Luke Grose, set off for the 3,000 mile race on January 4 from the island of La Gomera near Tenerife and will finish in Antigua.

Led by JCT600 chief executive John Tordoff, more than 250 staff took part in the rowing challenges at dealerships in Leeds, York, Bradford, Wakefield, Sheffield and Hull, at end of last year.
