Latitude Digital Marketing, which is part of the Callcredit Group, will now focus on paid and earned media channels, following a review of its business.
As a result of the strategic review, Latitude has entered into a 30-day period of consultation with 25 employees at the agency’s Cheshire, London and Kaunas offices.
Will Lowe, managing director, marketing solutions, said: “This has been a difficult business decision but we need to put a new structure in place to help grow the business. Unfortunately this means some existing roles will be affected and we are working with employees to fully support them.”
A spokesperson from Callcredit told The Yorkshire Post that until the consultation was complete the exact number of job losses wouldn’t be revealed.
Following the strategic review, Rick Lamb has been appointed head of digital operations and joins Latitude from iProspect, where he was VP of Search.
Mr Lamb follows in the footsteps of Andrew Kimberley who joined Latitude as head of digital strategy and innovation last month from MoneySuperMarket.com.
Both Mr Lamb and Mr Kimberley join the leadership team of Callcredit’s marketing solutions division, and will report to managing director, Will Lowe.
Mr Lamb will be responsible for the existing operational teams across each product area and geography, including the UK, Lithuania and United Arab Emirates.
Mr Lowe said: “Since joining Callcredit Information Group in January, I have undertaken a strategic review of our Marketing Solutions business, which includes Latitude. Now we have our leadership team in place, the time is right to restructure the agency to take advantage of the fastest growing sectors for digital marketing and to continue to deliver innovative, data-driven digital services,
