Jordan takes on new position at Sheffield Chamber

Ms Jordan has enjoyed three successful years as the chamber’s operations director, with full responsibility for the running of the membership & member services, training, international trade, events, marketing and the management of all staff at he organisation.

Richard Wright, will focus on external issues in the role of director – Policy & Representation with key responsibilities for lobbying and strategic interaction with members, the city and other stakeholders.

Both Richard and Brenda will report directly to the Board.

Chamber president, John Hayward, said: “These changes reflect the dual nature of the chamber and the equal importance of the management of the chamber on behalf of its members and the external representation of members’ interests. In an increasingly complex business environment the separation of the two roles will improve the delivery of both areas of responsibility.
