Keeping morale high for troops pays dividends at Banana Moon
Mr Grace named the company Banana Moon after a 1971 studio album by Daevid Allen, founder of Soft Machine and Gong, that he liked.
The company initially specialised in embroidering emblems and logos on school uniforms and later expanded into printing. Launching the website in 2000 has also helped the firm to reach a wider market, both nationally and internationally, and it has continued to grow.
The company, which employs 22 staff, now operates from a new purpose-built 7,500 sq ft building in Birstall, West Yorkshire.
It boasts modern in-house embroidery and printing departments.
