Law company advises on £1.6m vessel purchase
MYTON Law has advised a work- boat operator on a £1.6m vessel acquisition.
East Coast Charters instructed the Hull-based specialist shipping, transport and logistics law firm to act in the purchase and financing of the Lowestoft-built ECC Challenger, which adds to the company’s fleet of multi-purpose workboats providing marine survey, crew and stores transport and wind farm support.
“We were delighted to support East Coast Charters in formulating a strong business case to lenders, which proved successful in securing the investment funds towards the purchase,” said lawyer John Habergham.
Sister company East Coast Workcats built the boat.
