Beanify, a tenant of The Yorkshire Post-backed Leeds Digital Hub, was founded by brothers Simon and Stuart Edwards last year.
The business’ home coffee club delivers speciality blends direct to customers’ doors. It has now expanded to supply businesses with coffee for meetings and events.
Leeds-based Clarion holds around 300 meetings a month and a number of events each year, and will serve Beanify’s speciality blends, which are roasted in Yorkshire.
The coffee will be accompanied by description cards that include information on the beans and tasting notes for the blend.
Beanify co-founder Simon told The Yorkshire Post the partnership is a major boost for the company.
He said: “This is a key milestone for us. Partnering with such a prestigious Yorkshire business will really be a stepping stone.
“It’s great to work with such a trusted brand. We’ve already received enquiries from other companies interested in the service.”
Clarion is has already expanded its orders with Beanify to supply beans for its welcome area, days after the partnership launched, he added.
Beanify’s home coffee club also continues to see strong growth. Customers can sign up for one, three or 12 months and receive a different coffee at home each month.
Its recent success is thanks in part to a deal with experience voucher provider Red Letter Days.
“It’s given us a steady increase in business,” Simon said. “We also have a deal lined up with another provider.”
Beanify was one of the first companies to join Leeds Digital Hub in July last year. The scheme, run in partnership by Leeds Beckett University and The Yorkshire Post, provides flexible working space, professional services and mentoring to the city’s top digital and creative businesses.
