Vickie Rogerson, who was formerly head of food PR at the Leeds-based supermarket chain Asda, brings 20 years’ experience in the retail and FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) industry to the agency.
A spokesman for Lucre said: “Ms Rogerson’s extensive knowledge and experience of the retail sector includes launching Asda’s Wonky Veg range, developing a cheese range with Alex James and bringing thousands of its own label food and drink products to market.
“She has previously worked at PR agencies across a host of nationally-recognised brands, including Pork Farms, Butterkist, Quorn, Ben & Jerry’s, Seabrook Crisps and Onken.”
Lucre has also announced the appointment of an account manager, Ali Gwynne, to its London office, and the promotion of three of its Leeds-based senior account executives to the role of account manager, Brett Cullen, Lucy Kitching and Nick Horbowyj.
In addition, three entry-level account executive roles have been created across its two offices.
Tamarind Wilson-Flint, a director at Lucre, said: “We are proud of the growth of our teams and the further expansion of our expertise at a senior level.
“We understand the importance of laying strong foundations, which has led to this significant growth of the Lucre team in both our London and Leeds offices this year.
“We’re confident this will be the first of many announcements from us in the coming months.”
