The park was built in 2001 and its tenants include Triangle Wholefoods, which trades as wholesaler Suma, and diesel fuel injection systems specialists Feather Diesel Services. It is also home to industrial automotive experts Terberg DTS (UK) and medical technology provider KCI Medical.

Charles Fletcher, of GVA’s investment team, which represented LaSalle Investment Management in the deal, said: “The deal GVA has brokered for Lowfields shows if the correct marketing approach is made combined with the availability of a high quality, modern site in the right location, prospective purchasers will still invest despite the challenging market conditions.”

The deal is the second Yorkshire industrial site that GVA has sold on behalf of LaSalle this year. The first deal was the £7.3m sale of a site occupied by Tata Steel Europe, in Oldfield Lane, Wortley, Leeds.
