Lord Jones, the former Director General of the CBI, will visit West Yorkshire tomorrow to highlight engineering opportunities in high-growth markets.

Tomorrow’s event, which has been organised by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), will include specialist workshops outlining global investment programmes in aerospace and oil and gas exploration, as well as advanced engineering projects in Russia and billion pound investment programmes.

The conference – Future Export Growth Opportunities for Advanced Engineering 2012-2020 – takes place at the Cedar Court Hotel, near Wakefield, from 9am to 2.45pm.
