The original Rose family business was established by Alexander Rose in Leeds in 1945 and quickly grew, opening factories in Leeds, Allerton Bywater and Featherstone.

The firm said the merger will enable Mr Rose to pass on his expert knowledge and experience to a new generation of tailors who will benefit from the Yorkshire tailoring heritage.

“Rose & White will offer the very best of European bespoke tailoring that is carefully crafted to the highest international quality standards,” the company said.

Mr Rose hopes that being part of a larger team will enable him to partner with larger organisations.

Rose & White will be at Silverstone next month, showing at the BRDC Clubhouse.
