Micro-business experts launch service that is designed to help out each other

A NEW business support service has launched with the aim of helping micro-enterprises.

ProBeat has been developed by the micro-business experts behind community interest company Enterprise Rockers and offers a range of support services provided by business owners that are part of the Enterprise Rockers self-help community.

Users of the service are first directed towards posting their queries in the Rockers’ Facebook and LinkedIn groups, where other micro- businesses will be on hand to answer their queries free of charge.

However, for times when more detailed help is required, users can access paid-for documents, templates, and one-to-one assistance.

Enterprise Rockers co-founder Tina Boden, a businesswoman from Scarborough, said: “It’s our belief that the best help to micro enterprise owners comes from micro enterprise owners, and ProBeat adds more useful services to ensure that everyone within the Enterprise Rockers Community survives and thrives.”

From accountancy and legal, to funding, marketing, technology, and personal development coaching, all the professionals featured in ProBeat run their own micro-businesses.

ProBeat said that all its professionals must meet “strict criteria” to ensure they are not only suitably qualified in their area of expertise, but have been providing their services for a minimum of three years to the micro-business sector.

ProBeat has partnered with SimpleLegals to provide legal support through downloadable guides and templates. Market researcher and publisher Cobweb Information is also a partner.

Enterprise Rockers was launched in January 2012 by Ms Boden and Tony Robinson.
