Mills & Reeve brings in more experience to its real estate team
Partner Simon Sherwood will lead the team of property law experts, which will also include Alison Howarth and Celia Pavitt. Mr Sherwood is the former head of real estate at DAC Beachcroft in Leeds. Ms Howarth also joins the team from DAC Beachcroft in Leeds, while Ms Pavitt joins Mills & Reeve after nearly six years at Addleshaw Goddard.
Mills & Reeve said that Mr Sherwood has considerable development experience in the commercial and residential property sectors, asset management, real estate investment and the private wealth sector, while he also works extensively in the primary healthcare sector.

Irwin Mitchell has boosted its wills, trusts and estates disputes team with the appointment of Julia Burns (née Pearson), who will work in Leeds and Sheffield. She has eight years’ post-qualification experience at Clarion in Leeds and has worked in the area of disputed wills and trusts for the last six years.
She previously worked as a contentious sports and regulatory lawyer and in general commercial litigation.
Oxley & Coward Solicitors in Rotherham has announced the appointment of Abigail Watson, its new company commercial solicitor, who worked at DLA Piper for several years, where she specialised in non-contentious company and commercial law matters.
