More firms on Springboard to success

JOBS are expected to be created on the York Science Park, after it welcomed three businesses to its incubation space, Springboard.

Based in the Ron Cooke Hub on the University of York’s new campus development, Springboard, enables entrepreneurs and academics to work together.

Tracey Smith, the managing director of York Science Park, said yesterday: “As some of our existing early stage businesses are now established and moving on to the next stage of their development, it’s really encouraging and exciting to welcome another raft of start-ups to our dynamic space for new businesses, Spring- board.

“These three businesses are taking professional services and technology in fascinating new directions and I look forward to seeing them flourish here.

“Budding entrepreneurs should contact us as we still have room for more new businesses within Springboard.”

The business that have moved in are Life Transitions, which helps companies and individuals develop; TouchRight Software, which helps letting agents to carry out property inspections more efficiently; and advisory services firm ESPY Consulting.
