Move to fill the empty shops
The ROYAL Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has launched a small business retail lease to encourage more companies to move into empty shops
The lease, developed in collaboration with the British Retail Consortium (BRC), has been devised to simplify the process associated with commercial property leases.
RICS spokesman Jeff Pearey, of Jones Lang LaSalle, said the new lease would make it quicker and easier to get empty units back into use.
