New chief executive for 600 Group

Engineering company 600 Group has appointed Nigel Rogers as its new chief executive following the retirement of David Norman.

Mr Rogers, 50, who was previously chief executive of electronics manufacturer Stadium Group, has experience in international business development, mergers and acquisitions and the strategic direction of diversified industrial groups.

Mr Norman said: “Having led the company from the loss making period of 2008/9 back to producing an underlying profit during the last two years, I believe that it is now an appropriate time for me to stand down and hand the reins over.”

Paul Dupee, chairman of 600 Group, added: “The board would like to thank David for his contribution to the restructuring of the group and to welcome Nigel, whose significant experience will be key in driving the future growth of our operations both in the UK and Internationally.”
