New chief for telecoms venture
france Telecom executive Olaf Swantee is replacing Tom Alexander at the helm of Everything Everywhere, its British joint venture with Deutsche Telekom, the company said yesterday.
Mr Swantee has led France Telecom’s European operations outside France, and the company said he had successfully transformed Orange throughout Europe. He starts his new job in September.
Mr Alexander, who is leaving for personal reasons, has led Everything Everywhere since it was created.
