New face at Land Securities to have role in White Rose Shopping Centre

Solar panel distributor Waxman Energy has promoted Mark Powell to national sales director. Mr Powell joined the firm, which is based in Elland, West Yorkshire, nine years ago in operations, and made the transition to sales for Waxman’s ceramics business, before moving to Waxman Energy when it was established in 2007.

Accountancy firm Saffery Champness has expanded its Harrogate office with the appointment of audit senior Emma Ramshaw. She joins the firm from Harrogate accountancy firm Holeys.

Green cleaning products business Bio-D is expanding with the appointment of an operations manager. Roy Tanton joins the Hull-based firm to review its policies and procedures and to improve manufacturing efficiencies at its Sutton Fields site. He gained his operations management experience with Anglia Oils (now AAK UK) and BR Pharmaceuticals as well as in Madagascar and Papua New Guinea where he commissioned new plants and delivered workforce training.

Leeds-based communications firm Logistik Group has appointed Jon Doyle as senior producer.

Mr Doyle has 14 years’ industry experience at a number of production companies.
