New faces join the board of business support enterprise

Martin Poole, client relationship manager at Leeds-and-York-based accountancy firm Garbutt & Elliott, has been appointed a director of Business Support York and North Yorkshire (BSYNY).

He will be joined on the board of BSYNY by Charles Stent of solicitors Ware & Kay.

Renewable technology advice and installation firm Solarwall has appointed Chris Delaney as business development manager. Delaney has a background in sales specialising in social housing.

Specialist legal apprenticeship provider Damar Training has appointed two legal trainers to its team, extending its training services into Yorkshire.

Steven Sutherland joins the Manchester-based firm from Sheffield law firm Simpson Sissons & Brooke where he had a dual role as training manager and solicitor.

Lucy Baird joins the Leeds-based agency as PR account manager from Brass and graduate Nathan Bush has taken on the role of PR and social media executive.

Langleys Solicitors has strengthened its renewables energy team with the appointment of Nathan Bilton.

A member of the commercial unit at Langleys in York, Mr Bilton advises a range of companies and organisations on supply agreements, incorporation of companies in the renewables field, and on aspects of intellectual property law encountered by these organisations. He has joined Langleys after a period living and working in New Zealand.

Leeds-based niche law firm Pharos Legal has appointed Emma Greenwood to head up its corporate and commercial team. She is a former corporate partner with regional firm Schofield Sweeney and joins Pharos Legal from Addleshaw Goddard, where she was a legal director.
