New look, new logo sees the return of kwiksave

Costcutter Supermarkets Group has unveiled the new logo for its kwiksave convenience stores.

The kwiksave name, now owned by the York-based firm, is set to make its return to the high street next month, when the first kwiksave convenience store opens its doors. The group said the black and red logo hinted at the original logo colours and conveyed the retailer’s value message, whilst creating instant recognisability.

Nick Ivel, chief executive of Costcutter, said: “Kwiksave is an iconic brand that was a fixture on the high street for many years.
