New tenants at Yorvale Business Park

A handmade chocolate company, a dog creche, and a cycling promoter are the latest tenants at a North Yorkshire industrial park.

The businesses are to let almost 6,000 sq ft of space at Yorvale Business Park in James Street, York. Choc Affair has taken 2,500 sq ft in the park’s largest unit. The Waggy Dog Creche has taken 1,900 sq ft and Get Cycling has taken 1,500 sq ft.

Matthew Cormack, director of Yorvale Investments, said: “We bought the vacant site from the City of York Council in 2008 and built the park the following year. We were confident that the scheme would be successful because of the shortage of modern industrial accommodation in the city.”

Other tenants are Rothwell Electrical Services, TSL Electrical & Data Services and Fibrenet Electrical. Marketing agents are Lawrence Hannah and Tulloch Property Consultants.
