The Wakefield-based company said turnover in 2014 is forecast to be over £3.5m, up £1m on 2012/13.

The group reported a turnover of £400,000 when the business was bought in late 2006.

NGC said it has seen its customer base and revenues increase significantly since Dean Harrop and Nigel Adams bought what was a struggling business seven years ago.

The directors, who now include Nikki Guest, have overseen a turnaround in the company’s fortunes.

The group works with both private and public sector organisations across the north of Eng- land.

It claims it can simplify their communications through the introduction of tailored business telephone systems and network services.

These products and services range from simple single site telephone systems to more complex multi-site voice and data solutions.

It uses the latest technologies from leading brands such as Avaya, BT Openreach, VirginMedia, TalkTalk Business and Vodafone.

Customers include Superbreak Holidays, Manning Stainton, Timpson, Puma UK, Animalcare, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Lowell Group and Outwood Academy.

The company said it is actively recruiting staff and has just appointed two new members to its sales team: Rabina Kaur, 25, and 30-year-old Alex Baddams who both previously worked for BT.

It has also appointed Michelle Brewer to the role of operations co-ordinator.

Mr Harrop and Ms Guest head up NGC on a day-to-day basis with Mr Adams as chairman.

Mr Harrop said: “We are operating in a very competitive marketplace, but believe our commitment to finding the correct telecoms solution for clients which meets their business needs supported by high quality, on-going customer service has made the difference and enabled us to achieve consistent and sustainable year-on-year growth.”

NGC recently announced a year-long sponsorship deal with Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

The business is sponsoring the club’s 150th anniversary Hawke blazers, worn last week at a celebratory dinner at Elland Road.

Mr Harrop said: “Yorkshire County Cricket Club is in our view the world’s greatest cricket club and NGC is delighted to contribute our sponsorship in its 150th anniversary year.”

The blazers are an exact replica of the blazer worn by Lord Hawke, who captained the club from 1883 to 1910.

NGC is also an ongoing supporter of the Bradford Bulls Rugby League team.
