Overseas thirst for Fuller

London Pride brewer Fuller, Smith & Turner has seen a surge in exports as beer fans in countries including the USA and Canada develop a thirst for English ales.

The company, which reported a 16 per cent increase in exports, said one in seven barrels of beer brewed by the company are now shipped to 62 countries overseas.

Fuller said it is investing £4.5m in new facilities at the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick to meet growing demand for bottled beers at home and abroad.
