Park Row revamp sees firms snap up space

TWO companies have moved into 36 Park Row in Leeds, which has undergone a substantial refurbishment.

Mastek, the Reading-based enterprise application specialists, who already have offices in the building, have taken an extra 2,226 sq ft of space on the third floor, while Leonard Curtis Recovery Ltd of Manchester, are moving into 1,454 sq ft offices on the sixth floor.

Robin Beagley, partner at WSB Property Consultant, advised the landlords, clients of LaSalle Investment Management, on the two deals.

He said: “The flurry of recent lettings at 36 Park Row is the culmination of significant investment in the building, repositioning the location as a premium product, whilst still offering occupiers exceptional value for money.”

Andrew Miller, of LaSalle, added: “Our pragmatic approach, working with occupiers to offer them the space they require on extremely competitive terms has paid dividends. There is also interest in the remaining space.”

Following the major refurbishment, which included a transformation of the sixth floor, 36 Park Row now provides more than 26,500 sq ft of high quality comfort cooled office space offering a range of accommodation with suites from 1,377 sq ft to 1,942 sq ft. Current occupiers include BPP and Royal Haskoning DHV.

Elizabeth Ridler, of joint marketing agents Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “This location enjoys a superb central location, which is always popular with occupiers who are attracted by proximity to the station, the business and retail quarters with plenty of amenities close by.”
