York-based Portakabin has constructed a specialist building in order to aide the nation's vaccination effort.

The modular building specialist has rolled out the structure at the Askham Bar vaccination centre in York, which is enabling 8,000 extra vaccination appointments to be made available to patients as well as health and social care staff across the region.

“We are delighted to be part of this amazing national effort,” said Portakabin CEO Derek Carter.
