Premier Foods appoints new chairman

PREMIER Foods has appointed Ronnie Bell as its new chairman.

Mr Bell, who has been a non-executive director at Leeds-based Northern Foods since 2005, will take up the new post in October.

Premier Foods makes Quorn in Stokesley in North Yorkshire.

Mr Bell was previously president of Kraft Foods Europe.
