£1.1m contract wins for Clyde Process Solutions

ENGINEER Clyde Process Solutions said today it had won two contracts worth a total of £1.1m.

Doncaster-based Clyde, which specialises in pneumatic processing systems for industries including food and mining, said the deals were with producers operating in the recycling and minerals markets.

Both have have been secured by CPS's European operation. The first, worth 800,000 from a waste recycling provider, will

see CPS supply a solution with technologies such as

storage silos, pneumatic conveying systems, bag dischargers and dosing

injection systems.

The UK project will be commissioned in two phases and is due to be completed in March next year.

The second order, for 300,000, is from an Egyptian minerals company for which CPS will supply a pneumatic conveying solution to transport calcium carbonate in their facility replacing existing,

problematic mechanical bucket elevator systems. The order is due to be commissioned in September.

Alex Stewart, chief executive of Clyde, said: "These two orders build on the positive start made in this new financial year.

recognition by our customers of the substantial environmental and economic benefits our technologies can generate.

"Both of these contracts have been secured at healthy levels of contribution and are in line with management expectations. We continue to add volume to our sales pipeline and all of our global subsidiaries are working closely with numerous customers to secure additional, profitable orders."
