£5m leisure complex set to create 60 jobs

The opening of a £5m leisure development at a former RAF radar base will create more than 60 jobs.

The Country Club at Patrington Haven, based in rural Holderness, East Yorkshire, is due to open in the spring. The development will provide members with facilities including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool, gym, 18-hole ‘virtual’ championship golf course, cafe bar and restaurant.

The building, which is currently under construction, is set within the 40 acres of the Patrington Haven Caravan and Leisure Park, which has won a number of awards and is owned and operated by the Sparkes family.

Over 60 new full-time and part-time job opportunities will be created as a result of the opening of the country club.

The park was opened in 1985 by Graham Sparkes.
