PwC names tax director for region

Pricewaterhousecoopers (PwC) in Hull yesterday announced the appointment of Andrew Fitton as a tax director.

Mr Fitton, who joins from PwC's Newcastle office, will have responsibility for developing the firm's tax practice in Hull.

He is a founder member of the firm's specialist network on the taxation of debt and foreign exchange. Mr Fitton has provided advice to clients across the UK on debt matters. He also has experience in dealing with the tax issues faced by not-for-profit organisations including local authorities, charities and housing bodies.
