PwC is now carrying out the substantial refurbishment of the office, which will be ready by October 2014.

Andy Ward, office senior partner, said: “St Paul’s Place will provide a first class working environment for our people and shows our continued commitment to the city and wider region.”

“The move comes at an exciting time for the region. Sheffield has characteristically weathered the recession and has some fantastic prospects such as the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre and inward investment from the Enterprise Zones.

“There is buoyancy in the market with a number of local transactions creating headlines, as well businesses who have increased their international market presence.”
