Rail projects provide more opportunities

Industry specialists from the rail sector will give construction and civil engineering firms an insight into the latest global rail infrastructure projects at an event next month.

UK Trade & Investment will address guests at the Yorkshire Gold Business Club event in Sheffield on Thursday, November 3 along with the procurement team at Crossrail and BAM Nuttall which will discuss how to engage with the supply chain.

Crossrail is the new high frequency railway for London and the South East.

The project is one of the largest construction and civil engineering projects in Europe with a combined spend of £15bn.

There are opportunities for suppliers.
