Redmayne-Bentley consolidates and gets staff under one roof

STOCKBROKER Redmayne-Bentley has moved 140 staff under one roof after relocating its head office in Leeds.

The move to the sixth and seventh floors of 9 Bond Court last week consolidates offices previously sited at Merton House, Butts Court and Albion Street.

In addition, Redmayne-Bentley will be relocating its Share Shop to the ground floor retail unit next month, 10 years since the launch of the current Albion Street shop.

The firm has also taken on a new member of staff. Paul Fitzjohn joined the firm as its new public relations executive, working alongside the marketing team.

David Loudon, managing partner, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Paul to Redmayne-Bentley and I’m sure that his enthusiasm, drive and experience will be a valuable addition to the firm.”

The new facilities will incorporate client meeting rooms and will be used for a series of educational investor seminars and events.

Redmayne-Bentley is one of the UK’s leading independent stockbrokers providing traditional stockbroking, advisory and discretionary investment management services to private clients, IFAs and other professional intermediaries in addition to back office support to the firm’s 36 branches which are located throughout the UK and in Ireland.

The move to the 13,930 sq ft office, which was announced earlier this year, is one of largest office deals in the last 12 months. Redmayne-Bentley has signed a 10 year lease.

This deal means that the building, owned by Sun Alliance & London Insurance and managed by F&C Asset Management, is now fully let.
