Revenues up at Datong as spyware firm returns to profit

Datong, the designer and manufacturer of intelligence-gathering gadgets, saw revenues rise by 48 per cent in last six months, the Leeds-based company announced today.

The group made a pre-tax profit of 206,000 for the period ending March 31, compared to a loss of 149,000 for the same period last year. Operating profit before exceptionals increased from 150,000 to 520,000.

Dean Blood, chief executive, said: "I am delighted to announce that the Group has returned to operating profit following a strong performance over the half year.
