RS motors into more warehouse space

The firm, which is based on the Goldthorpe Industrial Estate in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, has moved into another modern detached warehouse extending to approximately 65,000 sq ft. It signed a new five-year lease with an option to buy. GVA Grimley's Yorkshire Industrial Agency team brokered the deal and advised the landlord.

Iain McPhail, principal surveyor in the national markets industrial team at GVA Grimley, said: "This is the third and largest letting to complete on the estate within a year. The estate is now over 50 per cent occupied and we are confident that we can dispose of the remaining three units as they offer good quality facilities at affordable rates."

GVA Grimley was appointed to market the site last year and has let three out of the six available units.

The estate, which was formally occupied by window and door manufacturer Speedframe, includes a mix of modern warehouse units and offices ranging from 7,720 sq ft to 140,000sq ft.
