Savvy opens office in the capital

LEEDS-based agency Savvy Marketing has opened a new office in London and taken on 13 new members of staff in Yorkshire.

The company, founded four years ago by Catherine Shuttleworth, specialises in retail and consumer brands and has clients including Asda, Unilever and Yodel, formerly known as Home Delivery Network.

She said: "Opening a London base and boosting our core team here in Leeds is in response to the ongoing growth of the business and part of our planned growth strategy.

"What's clear is that we need talented people on the ground to make the most of every opportunity. We're seeing growth from all of our clients and the demand for good commercial marketing solutions continues at pace for our organisation.

"We remain firmly committed to our headquarters here in Yorkshire, we see the London office as an important satellite office, a place for our existing team to work and a closer home for some of our clients in the South East.

"From a new business perspective there are many opportunities we can seize in London and this is our primary reason for opening the office."

Savvy Marketing employs around 70 people.
