She said: "Glenn has done a fantastic job and I hope to continue his excellent work. Nationally, the firm has gone from strength to strength during Glenn's 14-year period of office and this success has been mirrored in Leeds across all sectors. The expertise we offer in Leeds continues to win both local and national clients.

"The takeover of Eversheds' clinical negligence and health advice teams and a number of strategic appointments such as the recent arrival of partner Eve Gregory have strengthened our health, public sector and real estate teams. The acquisition of a new, second office in the city centre – Fountain House – shows our commitment to ensuring we retain our position as one of Leeds' leading commercial law firms."

Ms Clegg is National Head of Beachcroft's Real Estate Group and has considerable experience of all aspects of complex property development transactions including related planning, highways and construction matters.
