Simply a success as Aquados secures landmark Tesco deal

The environmental impact of detergents made by Aquados means they have been used by scientists at the Scott Base, New Zealand’s leading Antarctic research centre, for the last five years. The firm recently won approval from the Australian division of the facility.

Michael Nottage, purchasing officer for the base, said staff had found Aquados’ laundry powder to be effective and easy to use. “We have never received negative feedback on this product as we had with previous laundry powders, which caused skin irritations and left-over laundry smell.”

Aquados was also shortlisted in the best green manufacturer category in the Yorkshire Post Environment Awards in 2009.
