Getting a loan out when I was really young! It took a long time for me to truly appreciate the value of money, but that’s what happens when you join the army at 16 and want to enjoy and take part in everything.

What’s you ideal day away from the office?

On a beach or in the park on a hot day with friends and family.

Name one person you would like to have dinner with and why?

My grandpa, who passed away last year. He always enjoyed talking about day-to-day events with me.

What was your best subject at school?

Maths.

What are your hobbies?

Technology. I enjoy the way little things can make aspects of life more efficient. Running and football are probably my other two hobbies as they keep me fit and out of the house.

I’m definitely a morning person.

The food! I also recently became a Henderson’s relish fan – fantastic in lasagne.
