What was your first job?
I set up a car valet business with a school friend when I was 14.
If not in your present job, what would you like to do?
I would love to source art from around the world and sell it in my gallery. I may even see if I can paint one or two of my own.
What was your worst mistake?

What would be your ideal day away from the office?
It would have to be at Kilnsey Crag with my wife, Helen, and three children.

Hmm, good question. Jesus Christ.
What was your best subject at school?
I always enjoyed art, which may explain why I’ve been running my own creative agency in Harrogate since 1991.
What are your hobbies?

Hide AdI like to keep fit and really enjoy mountain biking and playing squash.
What would you do if you won the Lotto?
I would open a gallery and invest in to a few charities that are close to my heart.
What is your top time-saving tip?
Don’t keep checking your email. Honestly, it will save you plenty of time so you can concentrate on those urgent bits that need doing before lunch.
What is your favourite time of the day?
It would have to be in the evening, when the sun is going down.
What is the best thing about being in Yorkshire?
Everything – the scenery, the people. Yorkshire is God’s own country.
What would your epitaph be?
I’d rather not tempt fate so I’ll have to let someone else decide that….
