What was your first job?

A care assistant in a nursing home aged 17.

If not in your present job, what would you like to do?

I am really in my dream job at the moment. However, I would love the opportunity to work in other historic properties in the future.

What was your worst mistake?

I have had quite an unusual career path as I started studying medicine initially and decided after three years that it really wasn’t for me. This felt like a huge mistake at the time, but luckily I was able to leave with a science degree!

What would your ideal day be away from the office?

Probably some shopping with my mum followed by an afternoon at a spa!

What was your best subject at school?

Maths and chemistry.

What are your hobbies?

I love dancing. I also enjoy playing and watching tennis, walking and visiting other tourist attractions.

What would you do if you won the National Lottery?

Go on a very long holiday and buy a lovely house with a swimming pool.

What is your top time-saving tip?

Deal with whatever you can straight away.

What is your favourite time of day and why?

On the weekend I love waking up without an alarm clock and just dozing. During the week, I enjoy cooking the evening meal as it relaxes me.

What is your favourite garment?

My big fluffy boots.

What is the best thing about being in Yorkshire?

The views are just incredible and I love the feeling of space.

What would you like your epitaph to be?

Sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt and dance like nobody’s watching!
