What was your first job?

Paperboy. I got chased by dogs a lot.

If not in your present job, what would you like to do?

A rock star.

What was your worst mistake?

Having a conversation with a New Zealander about rugby which led to me giving him the benefit of my ‘extensive’ rugby experience only to be told later that he was the All Black player Jonah Lomu.

What would your ideal day be away from the office?

A day involving sport, dinner with the family, drinks with my closest friends, winning the Lottery and being voted Time magazine’s ‘Man of the Year’.

Name the one person you would most like to have dinner with?

Mahatma Gandhi.

What was your best subject at school?

Art Design and Technology. I used to frequent lunch time sessions with Ricky Wilson, lead singer of the Kaiser Chiefs.

What are your hobbies?

Athletic training, martial arts, salsa, tango, socialising, looking like Vin Diesel or Yul Brynner.

What would you do if you won the National Lottery?

I would celebrate, pay off friends and family’s debts. Invest in some of the start-up businesses my clients/friends are undertaking and to procure some form of long-term strategic position with a charity.

What is your top time-saving tip?

Sleep is sometimes overrated.

What is your favourite time of day and why?

A toss-up between the morning and the anticipation of a productive day and 5.30pm on a Friday afternoon, on the anticipation of an unproductive evening.

What is the best thing about being in Yorkshire?

The people.

What would you like your epitaph to be?

I would have to borrow from Winston Churchill: “I am ready to meet my maker. Whether my maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter.”
