If you weren't in your present job, what would you like to do?

I would have trained to be an actor. I would have loved to have been in a soap or drama.

What was your worst mistake?

I try not to make mistakes. My philosophy is that there is no time for mistakes in life. It works for me.

What would your ideal day be away from the office?

Relaxing on a beautiful beach abroad, preferably in paradise.

Name one person you would most like to have dinner with and why?

My father as I have never met him.

What was your best subject at school?

I loved geography.

What are your hobbies?

My main hobbies are keeping fit, going to the gym, and boxing as they help me to relax and focus my energy for the day ahead.

What would you do if you won the Lotto?

I would invest the money into my business and help local cancer charities.

What's your top time-saving tip?

Being organised in your work saves time rushing around at the last minute.

What is your favourite time of the day and why?

7.30pm to watch EastEnders.

What is your favourite garment?

I don't have a particular favourite. I like anything that's stylish.

What is the best thing about Yorkshire?

The history surrounding Yorkshire and its beautiful countryside.

What would you like your epitaph to be?

It's difficult to think at my age. I don't know: Tony Earnshaw King of Kings?
