Starring role in jungle show for agency

A YORKSHIRE advertising agency was one of the stars of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

George and Co, based in Huddersfield, won a four-way pitch to design and produce online advertising as part of supermarket Iceland's sponsorship of the programme.

The firm's work is being shown on ITV's website and other sites.

Ninka Hulme, broadcast advertising and public relations co-ordinator at Iceland, said: "This is a highly successful promotion and brings heightened awareness in the crucial pre-Christmas season.

"George and Co's understanding of our brand and proposition and the creative quality of their ideas and designs really impressed."

George and Co was founded earlier this year by George Carter who previously worked for Guardian Media Group, firstly as national sales manager for their regional division and then as client services director.

The firm has also carried out work for Argos, Allied Carpets, Carphone Warehouse, TK Maxx, Bovis Homes, and Gala Bingo this year.
