Stock exchange expert to speak at seminar

Mark Fahy, who is based in Leeds and manages a team of business development managers for the London Stock Exchange with special responsibility for the North of England, will join the corporate team at Denison Till and Manchester-based Gresham Private Equity in addressing an audience of York and North Yorkshire business people at the half-day seminar at York Racecourse on June 16.

Mr Fahy, who manages the London Stock Exchange’s relationship with more than 350 companies on the main market and AIM in the North of England, will discuss the current state of the market and if flotations are appropriate for individual businesses.

The head of the Manchester office of Gresham Private Equity, Andy Marsh, will give the view of a private equity provider including ‘buy-and-build’ investments and his experience of working with well-known names such as Lancashire-based online retailer Hotter Shoes.

The seminar is aimed at all business and company owners.
