Straight secures £750,000 deal to provide green boxes for Dorset
The Leeds-based company has won the contract with the Dorset Waste Partnership, which is keen to introduce a standard system across the county when the boxes are rolled out in October.
Straight said the new kerbside recycling scheme will unify the county’s 12 different recycling collections.

Straight will manufacture and supply almost 200,000 products to households across Dorset.
All households will receive a Straight 7-litre kitchen caddy and a Straight 23-litre kerbside caddy for the indoor and outdoor collection of food waste.
Households will also receive a Straight 55-litre kerbside box for the collection of glass bottles and jars.

Hide AdLast month Straight won a position on a new four-year framework agreement with Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO), the largest public sector buying organisation in the UK, to supply its Compost-A-Bag compostable liners.
Straight, which features on three other key YPO framework agreements, said this latest four-year contract is worth between £8m and £12m across the six suppliers who have been appoint- ed.
