Suite success as Velocity meets demand

DEVELOPER Velocity Estates has created 20 new office suites within its Velocity House business centre in response to market demand for smaller units.

The eight-storey Velocity House building, which was launched earlier this year at Velocity Village, Sheffield, includes tenants such as Capita Symonds, Red Earth Recruitment and Montpellier Accountants.

Originally, 27 office suites of different sizes were built to accommodate up to 15 people each but now an additional 20 have been created on the second floor of the building.

All occupiers have access to conference, business lounge and associated catering facilities.

Velocity Estates has also completed an additional nine commercial units, totalling 3,000 sq ft, on the ground floor of the V5 residential building within the scheme.

Lee Smith, contracts manager for Velocity Estates, said: "Before we even completed the second phase of business units we had already signed-up two new tenants, Work Permits Express and G Media, for the new space.

"We have worked hard to listen to the needs of the marketplace and create a stylish, financially viable working option for the businesses of Sheffield."
