The Leeds-headquartered business, which was established last year, has recently moved to larger offices in Garforth to accommodate its growth.

It was previously based at Thorpe Park.

Peter Jones, managing director, said that the business recorded sales of £780,000 between April and September last year, and forecasts a sharp rise to £7m in the year to the end of September.

He expects annual turnover to double in the following year.

The company, which employs more than 150 people, specialises in solid wall insulation, loft insulation, boiler installation, draught proofing and renewable energy systems such as solar panels, biomass boilers or heat pumps.

The firm is benefiting from the introduction earlier this year of the Green Deal and Energy Company Obligation (ECO), whereby energy companies are obliged to deliver carbon savings by providing funding for domestic improvements to vulnerable, low-income households and those living in hard-to-treat houses, helping these people in turn to reduce their fuel bills.

Mr Jones said: “The ECO funding scheme has really motivated the major energy companies to establish firm plans in order to deliver these carbon savings.

“In turn, we’re seeing a sharp rise in demand for the specialist services we offer, in particular solid wall insulation as much of the ageing and non-traditionally built housing stock isn’t suitable for simpler measures such as cavity wall insulation.”

Mr Jones said that the firm, which has in-house installation teams, is already being approached for repeat business by local authorities, housing associations and landlords in areas such as Blackpool and Middlesbrough.
