Tales from the Crypt Factor as event set to be the biggest yet

THE stage is set for Crypt Factor 2014 to be the biggest event yet in the singing competition’s eight-year history, with Bruntwood joining as a main sponsor and a host of key players from Yorkshire’s property industry warming up their vocal chords in preparation for one of the region’s most successful charity events.

Only a handful of tables are still available for the event, which takes place in March at Elland Road and raises money for LionHeart and St George’s Crypt.

Nine acts will perform in the competition from a wide range of companies including Barclays, Town Centre Securities, Savills, Bartletts, Bond Dickinson, Addleshaw Goddard, Morgans, Finn Communications and Gent Visick.

This year also sees commercial property company Bruntwood joining forces with Bond Dickinson, Morgans and Town Centre Securities as one of the event’s key sponsors.

Other supporters include the Yorkshire Post, the event’s media partner, and Tiger Tiger’s Lucky Voice, which is providing rehearsal facilities and karaoke at the end of the evening.

The competition will be presented by Alex Duckett, of Knight Frank.

Craig Burrow, Bruntwood’s regional director in Leeds, who competed in last year’s competition, says: “After performing last year I know how daunting it is to stand up and sing in front of so many people but all this year’s singers are working hard to ensure they put on great performances and from what we’ve seen in the rehearsals we’re in for a fantastic show.”

The Crypt Factor has raised more than £300,000 for the two charities since its launch in 2007.
