It is quick and easy to enter: just visit www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/awards and follow the simple instructions.

Judges are looking for entries from companies of all shapes and sizes. Entrants must explain what makes them stand out from the competition.

They can range from multi-nationals to tiny companies with big dreams that were founded in a laboratory or on a kitchen table.

As well as celebrating excellence in business in Yorkshire, the awards have provided a platform for political heavyweights like Chancellor George Osborne and his counterpart Ed Balls to reach an audience of the region’s most dynamic entrepreneurs and their advisors.
