The move by MOCAP, a manufacturer of quality plastic and rubber products, allows for expansion in their current packaging division, known as Cleartec Packaging, which manufactures transparent semi-rigid plastic packaging tubes and containers.

Greg Miller, co-owner and vice-president of sales and marketing, said: “With the acquisition of William Beckett Plastics Ltd, MOCAP is able to offer the most extensive line of plastic packaging containers to our current customer base as well as introducing MOCAP’s line of protective closures and clear tube packaging to William Beckett Plastics Ltd customers. This alliance enables MOCAP to broaden our scope and provide our customers with a product line that is unrivalled in this industry.”

MOCAP’s current customer base will now have access to the complete line of William Beckett Plastic Packaging’s solutions including round, square and rectangular telescopic containers, as well as boxes, inserts, multi-packs and cases.

DLA Piper advised William Beckett Plastics on the acquisition. The Sheffield-based DLA Piper team comprised legal director Anna Lewis and associate Chloe Roberts.
